PTSO: Brooklyn Prospect Charter School ("BP") welcomes and invites all parents, guardians and families of our students to join the BP Parent Teacher Student Organization ("PTSO"). Parents/guardians play a vital role in the life of our school community and parent/guardian involvement and volunteerism are encouraged.

The PTSO is looking to recruit candidates who reflect the wonderful diversity of our Brooklyn Prospect student body, are creative thinkers able to commit the time and energy to getting our PTSO off the ground and help it prosper in its role of fostering a close collaborative relationship among BP's families, teachers and administration, and, lastly, have fundraising, leadership, and/or organizational experience, either as a volunteer or through work.

Charter School Funding is an important issue for parents of charter school students. We urge you to read the below information about charter school funding in New York and  contact our local and state representatives urging them to visit our school and vote for continued charter school funding.
